Happy Wednesday!! Man has this weather been crazy or
what???
Since we have started our Ocean animal research this week;
Guided Reading will be a little slower coming home. We are doing our
research in our Guided Reading and Writing Groups for the next couple of weeks.
If your child forgets their books, no worries for the next few week because we
are definitely reading daily here at school! :o)
Anyone that want to come to the Valentine’s Party on Friday is
more than welcome to! You do not have to send a bag or box for your child’s
Valentines. We are making them here at school Friday morning.
WE ARE IN NEED OF A FEW THINGS before Friday:
6 Decks of playing cards for math
2 packages of Red heart Doilies
What we are learning this week:
Reading and Writing-I can use text features of nonfiction text to locate information about my ocean animal.
Spelling-I can spell -all and -id word family words.
