Week of December 17th

Hi Parents:

This week we will finish our study of traditions, holidays, and customs of different countries around the world.  We have been making connections to our own traditions, customs, and holidays that we celebrate here in America. The kiddos will bring their work home on Thursday or Friday!

What we are learning this week:
Reading-I can make text to self and text to text connections.
Writing-I can compare other winter traditions to mine and write about them.
Spelling-I can spell try, my, fly, land, band, stand, she, in, way and make.
Math-I can use strategies to help me solve addition and subtraction problems.
Science-I can identify characteristics of the season winter.

Winter Parties start at 1:45pm on Friday!  We will see you then!

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!!!
