Week of Nov. 26th
Our field trip is tomorrow, Novermber 27th. Please make sure your child wears their AQUA T-shirt. It looks like the high is going to be 59 tomorrow. It will be pretty chilly! Your child will need a jacket or coat.
What we are learning this week:
Reading-I can make connections to my previous learning.
Writing-I can write a story with a clear setting.
I can use words and phrases that express feelings.
Spelling-I can spell sun, run, fun, cut, hut, nut, big, not, look and he.
Math-I can identify and describe 3D shapes.
Science-I can observe and record changes in the sky such as: clouds, moon and sun.

Week of Nov. 5th
Hi Parents:
We are up to $35.00 a lap for Boosterthon….
WE ARE IN FIRST PLACE FOR OUR GARDE LEVEL AND THIRD PLACE FOR THE WHOLE SCHOOL!!!!
I am very proud of our class…. Keep the pledges coming! We will run at 8:30am on Thursday!
THANKS FOR ALL THE DONATIONS!!!! We have plenty of Lysol wipes and puff paint!
Also, if you need another copy of the turkey that I sent home for you and your child to decorate, please let me know… I have a few kiddos that have not completed it.
Remember, you can use anything from around your house… Get creative! :o)

Note*** There is a typo…. Our Class will be going Tuesday, November 27th at 9am.
This is a FREE field trip. No money is due, just forms!
If you would like to meet us there, please let me know. I can use the help, since they will be driving the battery operated jeeps!

Reading-I can comprehend the story using comprehension strategies. (Refer to strategies mentioned above.)
Writing-I can understand and use adjectives to create a mental image using words.
Spelling-I can spell got, got, spot, top, mop, shop, I, can, it, an.
Math-I can identify the ones and tens place.
I can read and write number sentences. (example: 5+4=9)
Science-I can identify how light travels.
